You can enjoy the peace and lake and river rapids landscapes of Kärenkoski by booking Wilderness Boutique Cabins, saunas, a hot tub, huts, and/or dining services at the forest restaurant for yourself or your group. You can explore the wilderness either on your own or in our guided tours. Find out more under the section “Nature Experiences.” Vaikon Loma offers more than 10 rental properties: 7 wilderness cabins, a café, a restaurant, huts, and saunas. A new larger log house is under construction.
Our wilderness well-equipped and high-quality cabins (4-5 people/cabin) are in the beautiful lake and riverside landscapes of Vaikko Kärenkoski, Finland.
The rapids between the lakes flow freely even during the winter months. To ensure your privacy during your stay, the cabins are nestled along a two-kilometer stretch of the river and lake shores and each cabin has at least 200 meters of private shoreline.
All cabins feature a fully equipped kitchen, wood-fired sauna, and fireplace. Rowboats and canoes are freely available to residents. We also rent out a hot tub. Please ask for more details when making your reservation.
